Color Editing

So yeah.. my all color editor for the group is away teaching english to a bunch of kids in another country.. and even when she was here.. she was having a hard time trying to figure this out as well.. and recently, a bunch of books that I've scanned, have this kinda of cover:

You see the little shiny sparkly stuff? It kinda distorts the image and makes it look like a bad scan or something. I'm curious if anyone has ever found a way to get rid of that... I asked around to my artist friends and they fooled with stuff.. but no one really has mad photoshop skills.. so I come to you, my dear friends on LJ and ask.. do you know of a way to rid myself of this.. or will my release just hafta include this weirdness?

Oh.. and does anyone have any ideas for scanning reflective covers? I have three covers that are reflective.. and I'm having one hell of a time with them also. *grumble*

Best Birthday Present EVAR~!

So for my birthday.. back in April.. one of my near and dear friends.. made me my own "more information than you ever needed to know about Lynn and her sex life" doujinshi.. or something. LOL! She bought this tenipuri doujinshi.. of which, she knew none of the characters, only that I liked tenipuri.. whited out all the bubbles and some of the sfx.. and scripted her own. Low and behold.. the following masterpiece was born. *giggle*

Now, some of you might say "my god! to ruin a doujinshi like that!" and had it been a pairing that I loved.. or kuroshitsuji or something.. I might've strangled her.. good intentions and all.. but since Tezuka x Ryoma isn't something that I love.. and she did sucha great job with the script.. I couldn't help but laugh hysterically through the whole thing. You probably will too. The 20 or so people that read this bad boy at FanimeCon died laughing within the first few pages.. and were almost crying from hysterics by the end. It was good food for the distraught soul. About the only issue I had with scanning and posting it.. is that it was originally in bright red.. so it's been grayscaled.. sorry if the leveling is funky because of it.. I wasn't trying to make a scanlation.. just trying to share the hilariousness that was my birthday present. :3

That being said.. since so many people reacted so positively to it.. I thought.. hell.. perhaps I *should* start a group that strictly does parodies.. I'd at least note that it's a parody.. and I'd try and only do it for stuff that UTM or other groups have already scanlated.. so you can still get the original words.. without feeling we led you astray.. but I seriously wonder.. how many people would actually wanna read that kinda thing? I know a LOT of people who are excellent writers.. like jadeprince and dustyjack .. but would there really be people out there who would download and enjoy something like that?

Who's to say? But if you post here and tell me 'HELL NO! DON'T DO IT!!' or perhaps "HELL YES!! MOAR MOAR MOOOAAARRR~!' It might give me some insight on whether this is a fun idea or not. ^_^

Bwahahaha.. oh yeah.. wait.. it DOES hurt. :P

Anyways.. here's some more tattoo goodness for you all. We have just under 10hrs into it now.. and while I don't mind all the money I'm putting into it.. I find it really annoying that it's gonna cost about double what I had originally intended on spending. I already have over $1000 into it.. and we haven't even started the arms, stomach or butt parts.

I'm totally gonna smoke a big fat blunt before the next session.. hopefully he'll have that needle set he was talking about for doing the fill.. I wanna get as much done before FAnime.. so I can show off my hawt sexiness. :P

More Fye D. Flourite Goodness

So we put in another 3.5hrs today. This includes the freehand drawing and the inking.. so while it may not look like much.. a lot of work was put into it. We're probably gonna finish up with the lining before we start the filling.. but Dave is gonna start getting the supplies together so he can do a 40pt shovel fill.. instead of using the 7pt shovel to fill.

It's looking soooo good.. I found another image.. from the manga.. when he gives it up.. and this revealed that there's also gonna be some parts on my stomach. My god.. what were they thinking when they gave that hot guy, such a complicated and huge tattoo?? LOL!

The Day Has Arrived!

That's right folks!! It's finally the day.. the day I've been waiting for.. the day.. I've been.. dreading.. hehe.

So we're gonna try to set up my computer to record the entire 4hrs or so of the outline.. and Edward_K said he would edit it (in case my boobs end up showing) and speed it up from 4hrs, to like.. 4mins. So you can watch in fast motion.. and if worse comes to worst, we'll be taking progress photos along the way. I'll post them up here in this thread.

I'll have Dave take a picture of my bare back.. so we can really get this from the start.. to the end. Today is JUST the outline. Unless he gets all ahead of himself and goes gung-ho.. lol!

I plan to be crying, bawling, moaning and making sounds similar to masochistic sex.. FEAR ME! And fear my love for Fye D. Flourite. :D

So I'm a chickenshit apparently.. I almost passed out at the 2hr mark and didn't make it to for as long as I had thought I would. I'm trying to email the outline and the point we got filled.. rather than work the whole outline, he wants to do piece by piece and fill each one as we go. Ugh.. I'd almost rather we did the whole outline.

Goodbye Grandma

Last Tuesday, at the ripe age of 87, my grandmother passed away. She was more like a mother to me than anything. Next to my Uncle Bill, I was close to no one else. She was my rock.. she was always there to rescue me and lend a hand when I needed it. She may have scolded me or questioned my thinking.. but she always stood by me.

These last few months have been really hard.. not just on me.. but on my whole family.. and my grandma as well. On Halloween night, she fell and hit her head. We didn't think she'd actually hurt herself, but three days later, we were sure. On November 3, 2008, my grandma had to have brain surgery. They had to remove a huge amount of blood that had pooled in her brain and was causing pressure in her skull. My oldest uncle, my mother and I were the three people on her medical power of attorney.. so we all sat down and talked about what she would want. In the end.. we decided for her to have the surgery.

She actually came out of it amazingly well. We were shocked to say the least. We thought for sure that she wouldn't make it through the surgery. After that.. lots of discussions on what to do to make her comfortable were had, and in the end.. we took her home. Her mind wasn't quite there, but you would see flashes of her memory from time to time.. enough that it made us all very happy that we had made the decision to bring her home. I gave up my weekends to go to her house and take care of her.. bringing her anything and everything that she wanted.. which a lot of the time, was strawberry ice cream. We would talk and laugh and sometimes I was a nurse, a housekeeper, her best friend Molly from when she was young.. once I was even some girl she knew from Sunday School. But more often than not, I was her precious granddaughter who was there to spend time with her and take good care of her.

The hospice people weren't the most helpful people in the beginning. I truly wouldn't recommend the company to anyone. But the one thing they always said, is that she was in the best shape out of all the other patients. She didn't have a single bedsore and we combed and washed her hair often. I even got in the shower with her a few times to help wash her up. Boy were those some interesting moments.

The weekend right before she passed, I came early on that Saturday, she was so happy to see me.. although, I don't know if she knew exactly who I was, I was still happy to hear her excited voice and see her beautiful smile. At 2am on Sunday morning, she woke up and couldn't get back to sleep.. so eventually, I went in with her and she held my hand, softly petting me and telling me how happy and grateful she was for me to be there. I fell asleep next to her, while she held my hand, telling me how warm it was and whispering her thoughts to me. It was a very tender moment that I will never forget for the rest of my years.

When I left on Sunday, my middle sister Angel and my Uncle Bill sat around her bed with me, and we talked about everything that was going on with her.. at first she just listened, then she closed her eyes and the most beautiful smile played across her lips as she just lay there, listening to the sound of us talking. That image of her is engraved in my memory.. she just looked so beautiful.

I got the call on Tuesday, that she was probably dying. So I rushed to be by her side. Just as I took the exit for her house, this wave came over me.. a wave of loss.. of which my heart could only say, 'She's gone.' I cried the last few blocks and when I got there, I had been right. She had just stopped breathing a few minutes before my arrival. I went to her side and I cried for a long time, rubbing her arm and telling her just how much I was going to miss her. Just how incomplete my life would be without her. I gently kissed her forehead and said to myself that it was better this way.. her confusion was over.. her pain was over.. she could go be with her own mom and dad now.. with her friends that have passed.

I don't think I'll feel like doing much of anything for a few weeks.. but I'm trying to distract myself with my websites and scanlation work.. even the kids at school are a welcome distraction. The pain of loosing my most precious grandmother.. will ring in my heart for many, many moons.. but I do believe that acceptance of her death has already settled inside of me. She lived a very full life, unlike my first husband and my father.. so this was just her time to rest.. which is proving to be much easier for me than I thought it would be.

If they have computers where you are grandma.. and you're reading this.. know that I love you.. always and forever.

My Present to Myself

So.. for the past 2 years.. I've been thinking about getting another tattoo. What brought it on you ask? Well.. I started watching Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles.. and when I saw Fye's tattoo.. I wanted it. Period. I've always wanted a full back tattoo.. I never knew if I'd be able to handle the pain of it.. I mean.. full back tattoos are hours upon hours of pain being drilled into your body.. and if I turned around and went to get it the very first time I saw it.. I might regret it later. I also used the excuse that I didn't know anyone...

Last night.. that all changed.

My baby sister is leaving for Australia.. we don't know when she'll be back.. so she had a going away party last night. I had a blast.. and drank a whole bottle of wine straight to the head.. haha.. but one of her friends came in with her shirt all pulled up, showing off this tattoo she had.. and then she mentioned that she had brought the artist with her. I was totally enthralled by it.. and I hit it off pretty good with the artist.. (His name is Dave King.. and will travel anywhere in the bay area and do the work right at yr own home..!)

So I thought about it all morning.. then I decided.. you know what.. let's do it. If I go slowly, then by my birthday.. it will be complete and I can go out in a backless shirt and show it off loud and proud. :D

So I spent a little time today looking at Fye's beautiful body.. again.. and looking at the details of the tattoo and whatnot.. Even now.. I still really want it.. that big, blue design.. covering my back and arms.. it sends shivers of pleasure down to all my happy places when I think about it. I'm seriously gonna hafta find a backless bra.. but shit.. my chest is so huge.. I dunno if those stick on cups work for people like me.. I wanna buy a shirt that will show it off.. and and and.. yeah..

I've never heard of anyone actually getting Fye's tattoo on them.. so I wonder if I'm alone in this.. I mean.. I can't be.. right? I also was curious if any better pictures of the tattoo existed.. like.. in an art book or something.. I'm gonna hafta go to Kinokuniya and look through the CLAMP books and see if anything pops up.. perhaps one of my most marvelous friends out there.. have a scan of something definitive.. the two images I have to work with.. and what I've already sent to the artist.. are these:

Yaoi-Con

So it would seem that my faith in conventions has been renewed! Thanks to Yaoi-Con, I'm feeling quite refreshed and excited about conventions again! After attending the most horrible convention of my life (AX2008) I was quite skeptical about going to another con.. but all of my true friends rallied together (I'm sure they don't realize the impact they have on me) and made this con the best one ever!

On Friday, I woke up early to take Daria to school, then came home and began tearing my house upside down looking for my compression shirt. Dressing as Grell would be quite the feat, with my huge DD chest. After 4hrs of searching, I gave up and went to see what I could possibly use as a substitute. I went to the store and tried on the smallest biker compression shirt I could find.. however.. it cut off the circulation to my arms.. so that ended up being a bust. I then drove over to the Party Warehouse, so I could try and find the chainsaw. Lucky me.. at least I was able to find that!! I really would've preferred to have the ragdoll of Sebastian, but the chainsaw was good too.. hehe.. funny thing is.. I was so hot most the time, I never actually carried it around with me!! LOL! Anyhow, so by the time I got to the convention hotel, it was just past 1:30pm.. I rushed to get my badge and jump in line for the swap meet.

Once we got all paid up for the swap.. I set up the table.. my table partner, fujin06 had gone out to eat with her friends.. so she was waaay late.. but it worked out. We didn't sell as much as we had hoped, but let's just blame that on the economy I suppose! I was surprised by Hina, one of the translators over at Beautiful Soup. She had miraculously found me while scoping out the tables. It was so cool! I hope she posts the picture she got of us together.. that was the best! I also got to meet the wonderful ladies of otakupink! It was kinda funny.. because they were kinda doing the same thing as me.. selling the books they'd either already scanned/scanlated or the ones they probably wouldn't ever scanlate. It also came up that we might look into doing a joint some time.. since some of our interests overlap.. not many.. but some.. *drools on the tenipuri-ness of it all*

After the swap, I met up with lynneness and we had dinner at FreshChoice, then went to the opening ceremonies. It was really funny, because we both used our 'status' in order to get front row seats. It was even more hilarious.. because they seated us in an empty row.. so it was just the two of us, up front and personal through the whole thing! After that we were walking out to the elevator.. she was off to see some other friends.. and I ran into my friend Fifi. Fifi and I met 3yrs ago, when he was at his first Yaoi-Con.. he looked so depressed and unhappy.. I just had to find a way to cheer him up.. to this day, he tells everyone that if it wasn't for me, his first Yaoi-Con might've been the suckiest con.. and he might not have ever come again. It's one of the highest compliments I've ever been given!

Fifi helped me get my things into the hotel room and I changed into something more comfortable (and warmer!) then we went to hangout and see what was going on. Down in the lobby, we saw some Kuroshitsuji cosplayers.. and much to my surprise.. one of them was dressed as Grell!! Talk about shocking! However, she didn't have all of the specifics.. so I told her how awesome she looked and gave her some pointers on where to get the right shoes.. then I shared some of the scans from the all color doujinshi that we're cleaning with trinity_mafia right now.

As I was sitting there sharing my scans.. I looked across the room and saw the most beautiful sight.. it was sw_inku! I had talked with shiroro on MSN and she had said she was attending NYAF, so somehow, I assumed that sw_inku would be there too.. but how surprisingly wrong I was!! I was so happy and excited! I don't get to see her as often as I'd like. She invited me to go up to cafe_verfuhren with her so we could giggle at and enjoy the company of our friends. It took us about half the time we spent there to stop giggling every time one of our friends would talk to us while in character. It was a blast though, that's for sure!!!

At about 11:30pm or so, I went back to the room and hung out with my room mates for the con, the wonderful people from the girl's games channel on irc. I totally ended up falling asleep, drooling on myself during the movie.. and I woke up just in time to make it into bed. Poor amadeus, he snores really loud, so he ends up feeling super guilty about it all the time.. yet none of us really care.. we're still more than happy to share a room with him.. cause he's so awesome like that. ^_^

On Saturday morning, I woke up early and started getting my cosplay together.. however, I discovered quite early, that I had forgotten to pack all my pants.. skirts, yes.. pants, no. That also included my cosplay pants. So I drove over to the Ross down the street and checked to see when they opened. I had about 30mins to spare, so I went on the hunt for a REAL Starbucks.. not that little hole in the wall place that "serves" Starbucks. I found one right off of El Camino Real, and set my sights on a vente Double Shot + Energy.. with lots and lots of creamer.. *drool*

I was able to get my pants, and ended up finding a shirt that worked pretty well (though it was a long sleeve shirt) as a temporary replacement for my compression shirt. I got back to the hotel and got all spiffied up in my cosplay.. but while I was able to get the wig on, I couldn't see well enough to pin it.. so I tried calling people so I could beg for help. No one was answering.. but that was no surprise. I did as best I could then hobbled to the Artist's Alley to hunt down someone. (3.5" heels.. on a male character.. is just sooo wrong!!!)

I was able to find dustyjack and beg her to help me out.. of course she said yes, which was a HUGE relief! However, jadeprince was taking her sweet time getting her cosplay on.. so we were sitting there laughing for the longest time. Especially since I had to part the hair in my face just to see, because the bangs wouldn't stay put on my face! (The parting of the great sea~ and the opening of my curtains.. were well used metaphors) This awesome Hero(Persona3) cosplayer walked by and asked for a picture.. well.. first instinct was she was talking to someone else.. I dunno HOW, but I had forgotten for a minute, that I was dressed in cosplay. I was like.. osnap!.. sure.. want me to walk around? So she got the picture and I sat back down.. somewhat shocked. dustyjack just laughed at me.. and about every10-15mins.. she'd get this scrunched up look on her face and ask wtf was taking so long!

jadeprince eventually got back and dustyjack and I were able to escape up to the hotel room.. not only to get my wig fixed.. but to also get her into her Sokka cosplay. On our way back, we stopped by cafe_verfuhren to see who was around.. but I was specifically looking for sporkkunoichi so she could help me get the silly bangs fixed.. I figured, at least my head was pinned on.. the bangs were just annoying. Turns out, I actually found her down in the Artist's Alley.. which was great.. cause we were able to get my wig somewhat fixed so that I could SEE where the hell I was walking. I actually drove down to Starbucks and Safeway in my full cosplay.. that was quite fun actually.. LOL!

After the AA closed, we all decided to meet up and get some dinner. We headed over to the little hole in the wall cafe that was behind Ross and had a totally excellent meal.. though, the Split Pea soup was a bit bland for my taste.. and neither salt nor pepper seemed to help it out. After we were done, I had promised my roommates that I would help get them awesome seats at the Bishounen Auction. So I went to meet them at the doors and get them inside. Everything went smoothly, except that it took over an hour.. instead of 30mins.. for the auction to start. I went back upstairs to the private party and proceeded to get a bit toasty with everyone. jadeprince's inhibitions disappeared, as usual.. so the licking party promptly began when she pulled her shirt up and told everyone to have at it! LOL! At one point, they drew a chocolate syrup penis on her.. it was very entertaining.. heh heh heh. At around 2am.. I felt a little too tipsy to stay.. so I went to bed. It was an awesome party.. with waaaay too many hawt girls. *licks her lips* Being drunk and staying around them probably would've been a very bad thing.

On Sunday, I packed everything up and drove to get coffee.. I hung out with everyone again and just had the most excellent time. I ended up spending just under $250 in the dealer's room.. which is by far a record low for me. When the convention was over, I drove lots of people to the airport (cab fare is insane!!) and took sw_inku to her hosts house, just a few miles out from where I live. All in all.. I spent a wonderful 2.5 days with my most treasured friends.. and reaffirmed just how much I love going to cons and hanging out with everyone!!

Thanks to everyone.. even if I didn't name you above.. you all made my heart smile again.. and it's been just so long since I could put an honest smile on my face. sihaya_chan I hope you remember my face next time.. otherwise, I might just pull you into a kiss you'll never forget! :P

I'm just so done. There's no other way to put it. DONE is almost a foreign word to me.. but it still fits here.

It seems I can't do anything right. I offered to scan for some friends that run groups.. and their supposed concern just overwhelmed me.. because honestly, it sounded more like bitching to me. I offered to edit, I offered to proofread, I offered to help with all kinds of various things, for all kinds of various people and groups.. and what do I get in return...? Bitchbitchbitch.. because I'm not putting each of them first and blowing off my real life and everyone else, all so I can focus on them and them alone.

I'm so tired.

And it seems, even though I'm not making patterns for other people this year.. I won't be cosplaying after all. I knew it was quite the crack pipe dream to begin with.. and in my own stupidity.. I believed for an instant.. that it might actually happen.. but yeah.. not so much. And it's not like I can sit and point fingers and scream and yell or anything.. everyone that offered to help, gave as much as they could.. just that fate and destiny stepped in and made it impossible... just like always.

I'm so exhausted.

Even if I finish a UTM scanlation project right now.. I can't even release.. for being the 'boss'.. I'm really quite inadequate. I've never felt so horrible this early in the year.... usually these feelings don't really start setting in until late October/early November.. but it seems this year, my bad luck has decided to plague me now, instead of later. Shit, I don't even want to go to AX anymore.. and if I hadn't already paid and promised so many people I'd go... and my van is full of people I promised rides to.. and I promised my eldest daughter that I'd let her take her sister for the week.. even though fate and destiny hate me.. since it's in my power.. I'm not going to let it ruin other people's plans.

I just want to sleep.

So yeah.. I'm done.. I have no desire to DO anything.. and if I didn't have Daria.. I'd probably curl up in a ball and just sit for a week or so.. I'll probably just end up being an inconvenience to my friends at AX.. and now.. I don't even know if I wanna go to YaoiCon.. I might just blow that off this year too.. *sigh* ..I dunno how I let myself be convinced into going anywhere.. I mean.. seriously.. I'm such a failure of a human being..

Wigs, Wigs and more Wigs

So now that I'm getting close to done with Gurell, and since I'm basically done with TYL!Reborn.. I've decided to save myself some heartache, headache and pain.. but just buying my wigs already styled.. however... It dawned on me at this ungodly hour.. that I no longer know anyone that does wigs! I used to know a bunch of people.. but now I just don't anymore.. orz.

I don't have a lot of money to spend.. and I'd really like to go with someone who is trustworthy, knowledgeable, talented and won't screw me over.. but man.. does anyone like that even exist these days? I'm afraid of commissioning someone I don't know.. because what if they buy a really cheap wig and do a horrible job? Not that I want a super expensive wig either.. but there's a differences between wigs.. even if they all cost around $20... some have better hair placement, are easier to manage/dont get tangled quite as easily, etc.

The problem on top of all that.. is that even though I know there's a difference, and even though I'm informed of these things.. that doesn't mean I can tell from a picture, whether I'm getting a good deal or the short end of the stick. I was thinking about going down to the local beauty college and adopting one of the students or something.. they probably wouldn't over charge me.. and it would probably be good experience for them.. and they could probably help me find a good store with good quality wigs.. I dunno though.. mebbe one of you wonderful people has some advice for my lame ass. :P

So yeah.. all that's left is my TYL!Reborn wig.. my Gurell wig... and the jacket, vest and tie for Gurell. I dunno if I wanna carry around the chainsaw for Gurell... though, I'm thinking about making the patchwork doll that is in the color image I have for him. I dunno if I could even make a chainsaw.. though, closer to halloween, and I'll probably be able to find a fake one (texas chainsaw massacre style, baby!) and then maybe use that when I go to YaoiCon.

Blah. While I'm super excited about finally being able to cosplay this year (in the past, I've worked on everyone elses stuff and not left enough time to finish my own) at the same time, it's scary.. I mean.. what If I can't get these few little silly pieces together?.. I dunno.. I'm lucky.. and I feel blessed.. because tokiyoh and sporkninja are helping me out.. so I guess I should have a more positive outlook on things, eh? :P

Conventions, Nakama, Cosplay and Such

Goddesses above only know why the hell I'm posting on my LJ, instead of getting some much needed work done. I have 5 full mangas, and at least 10 doujins sitting on top of my scanner, let alone the color doujinshi and the mukutsuna doujinshi that I'm supposed to be typesetting right now. (Damn that tsubasa! She always takes the easy ones!!! :P) I have like 10 more episodes of Oofuri to translate, as well as the lamboxreborn.. and well.. I'm feeling mighty overwhelmed.

I did get the all color Kuroshitsuji scanned in.. our color editor is gonna shit her pants when she sees the scans. That's a lotta penii to re-draw.. snicker. It's doable.. but I've never tried to do it in all color before. Next is the all color Togainu no Chi.. which I'm sure she'll grab first.. because it's gonna be easier then screwing your hand, to edit.

Which also brings me back to the reality that I need to get the Kuroshitsuji manga stuff done also. orz.

Why am I trying to shove all this work into such a short period of time you ask? Well, I need to start finding a way to raise the funds for AX. I had originally said, I wasn't going to go this year.. I usually go with my ex.. but this year, that's a no go. I didn't wanna go and end up staying with complete strangers.. and all the people I know, have full rooms. (Now, whether it's people or cosplays.. the rooms are still full. :P ) Anyhow, I did end up going to Fanime.. which was awesome.. I didn't realize it was my friend Jess' birthday.. but found that out very quickly through the grapevine. This sent me into a mad panic.. I mean.. what can I do for this awesome girl?? So we're doing a special UTM release.. cause most of the people in my group, that also cosplay, know Jess and Kim. I mean, come on.. it's hard NOT to know them if yr in the circles we run with. That really brightened up my weekend. But back to the main point.. it so happened, that another friend, DOES have space in her room.. so that leaves me with a choice.. save up and go to AX.. or not.. what to do, what to do. If I go.. I wanna cosplay.. but that also requires money.. and every year.. I say I'm going to.. but I never get my cosplay finished in time.

And that brings us to the cosplay part.. That's right folks! We were finally able to find some time in our busy schedules, to release this uber cute Hibari x Tsuna doujinshi. It's from an anthology set that Tsubasa has, so we were able to include both parts.

Yeah, I know we said that the next release would be that humongous Kanegae Showko doujinshi.. but it really does take a lot of time to edit her work.. (especially when we're doing full sfx editing) and at 50+ pages.. we're all in faint mode. However!! We brought on two more translators and another editor.. so here's to the life!

Every year, it astounds me how Christmas is just there all of a sudden.. before you know it.. it's cold, lights are up everywhere, and yr trying to find the box with everyone's addresses in it.. so you can send out those cards.. Well.. this year, I decided to take a page from my great-aunt.. and write a single letter, then include it in each card I send. It's a little on the generic side.. but seeing as I usually send between 100-200 cards each year.. JUST for Christmas.. I was trying to devise a way to give myself a break.. from the usual hand-written, personalized note that I would send to each person. I think that everyone that I send a card to, knows that I love them deep in my heart.. even if it's only a little note about the last year of my life.

That being said, I also feel I should apologize to everyone for the lack of release of our next doujinshi installment.. I know a lot of you have been waiting with mouths wide and panting heavily to get that smut fix.. but between Thanksgiving, and now with Christmas upon us.. mine, Shiroro and Tsubasa's schedules have been slightly busy. School is going on hiatus pretty quick here, my lights and tree and whatnot are finally all up.. (except the roof lights.. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna climb up there without killing myself) and shopping is mostly done.. We have up to page 34 done of a 56 page reborn doujinshi.. and while we thought of splitting it into two parts.. we decided to hold off and just give you the whole realm of love.. from start to finish. ^_^

We also have an ALL COLOR doujinshi planned for release around Christmas.. work has already begun on that.. after which, we're gonna spice things up and release either a Gintama or Oofuri doujinshi.. just to add some variety and spice to our lives. ^_^

(why is it so hard to find hardcore smut of those two boys.. dammit!) So by all means.. drop me a line.. I'll be glad to return with an answer.

On a totally off note, I'm personally looking for someone who has a huge Xxxholic addiction and can translate like the wind.. lol.. I have my bleach translator.. I have my khr/gint/oofuri translator.. and now I just need someone to fulfill the Xxxholic role and make my life complete.. lol! These are the only fandoms I really follow (well, I still adore my athrunxkira and tezukaxfuji smut.. but hey.. there's so much out there..) I've also been convinced to fansub the Persona3 anime that's coming out in January.. but again, as we all know.. good translators are hard to come by.. which is why I don't usually ask people to go outside of their fandom.. but if you know a fan.. (and not just the kinds that cool you off on a hot day :P) by all means, point them my way. ^_^

So I was off doing that whole 'look at other livejournals' thing again this evening.. I think because I was half asleep.. and one of my really good friends, had a post on his, that was from another friend of his or something.. I forget exactly.. so I opened it in a new tab and moved on. (I'm good for that.. I don't actually visit the page when I click on it.. I just open and move on) So when I finally got to it.. I realized, it wasn't another LJ, but a blogspot.. okay.. no problem.. then I began reading.. and omg.. I just HAD to share this with you all.. since if you're visiting my LJ.. you're either a total perv.. into yaoi.. into yaoi doujinshis.. or all of the above. :D

Yep, that's right folks, we have officially released our first project as the Unholy Trinity Mafia! Milk Lambo, a Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Doujinshi. I can say now, that it's amazing how stimulating milk can be. :D

You can download this both on The Unholy Trinity Mafia's site, as well as on our high-speed bots in our channel, #UTM on irc.

You know.. I love sharing my raw scans.. I like to share the wealth of yaoi that exists in my tiny little corner of the world.. but when I share, I usually say 'hey, just don't share this with someone else.. and if yr gonna scanlate it, let me know.' But when I see my shit show up on someone else's scanlation site.. the rage within me.. and the lack of desire to share *anything* just runs rampant. I feel like steam is literally coming out of my head right now, I am sooo angry.. and what angers me even more, is that the person who did it.. knew I was working on the release too! *SCREAM!!* How could she?! That's all that I keep thinking right now!! My blood is just boiling! And I guess the worst part, is that one of my partners in the release, is who discovered it.. I feel so out of touch.. I have my hands, feet, eyes, ears, nose in so many goddamn cookie jars.. that I don't have time to hunt around and find information.. I'm lucky if I spend an hour a week doing research.. but the timing.. on top of everything.. ugh.. my head hurts..

So I decided to do a little adventuring around LJ this evening.. and omg.. I'm listed everywhere!! And I'm the only person without a link back.. cause like.. no one knew/knows that I have an LJ account.. sugoi~! Well.. I tried to comment on the threads that I saw me mentioned, with no link back.. so that those beautiful people would know I do actually exist around here.. but I dunno.. perhaps I was too subtle?

It's funny.. I only ever made an account on LJ.. so I could get my pr0n.. I mean.. come on.. we all know that Leha must have her pr0n.. I'd go insane without it.. shit.. I already do go insane regularly.. and I have terabytes and terabytes.. and books upon books.. and doujinshi upon.. well.. you get the picture. I had to build another shelving unit just to house all my stuff.. (thank god I got rid of over half my hentai collection) I really do need more shelves.. orz.. and I *would* put more up in my room.. however.. all of the walls are slanted.. so I can't *hang* shelves.. and the walls are all about 4feet tall before they slant.. so I'd need short shelving units at best.. but the walls are already lined with stuff.. and the slanted parts are all covered in posters and whatnot.. so it's.. yeah..

Then my dad springs on me tonight.. that this plot of land he wants to buy in Half Moon Bay.. he's looking to buy it, so he can build a house on the land.. and give it to me, Daria and Sam.. I'm like.. dude.. that's.. awesome.. HOWEVER.. sometimes I wonder if he still thinks Sam and I are actually gonna get back together.. it's like.. 3yrs now (1+yrs officially divorced) that we've been separated.. I dunno.. everyone thinks it's weird that I still live with my ex-husband.. but man.. we were like the bestest of friends for 8 YEARS before we ever got together.. it just seemed easy and natural to revert to that again.. and living together is so much more financially stable for both of us.. and it's good for the kids.. I dunno.. but now I wonder if it's not giving my father-in-law the wrong ideas.. *shrug* ..who knows.. men are mysterious.. chinese men are even more mysterious.. lol.

I blame tsubasa! Well.. I guess Shiroro and ocean also.. teehee.. wait.. who else has been pressuring me lately dammit?! That's right.. I finally posted on LJ.. so.. stop poking me.. I'm not a voodoo doll dammit.. oh.. wait.. Shiroro.. move a little lower and to the left.. heh.. *drool*

For those of you that don't know.. Shiroro is the super sexy Reborn translator.. and her, me and tsubasa-sama are gonna form the Reborn DJ team.. and release a huge onslaught of Reborn DJs into the wide world of yaoi.. heh heh heh. I dunno if we're gonna use one of the other team names for the releases.. or form a whole new team.. BUT.. I do know that we all cream our jeans regularly, when viewing my huge collection of Reborn doujinshi.

On another note.. I wanted to share with you all.. the stupidity that exists in the world.. not that I don't think yr already all aware.. but yr gonna love this.. we all know that I am a major contributor with the world of yaoi scanlations.. well.. and non-yaoi.. just more so with yaoi.. heh.. and at YaoiCon.. this super stupid person handed out discs marked 'Yaoi Scanlations'.. I finally got a chance to see what was on the disc.. and much to my shock.. it was a lot of licensed titles.. and to think.. she actually handed this disc to one of the head administrators for a yaoi publishing group!! I mean.. come on.. how stupid must one be to hand someone a disc with that persons hard work broken down and given for free?

To say the least.. once we identify this chick.. the people over at YCon have said she'll be banned from attending.. which is kind of sad in itself.. I think everyone deserves a warning.. I mean.. I've recently seen worse culprits out there.. but still.. I can't believe she was stupid enough to hand that disc directly to a distributor.. and it's not as if she didn't know it was a distributor.. she handed it to us right at the booth in the dealers hall! Ugh.. I really need to get my license plate thingee that says 'Stupid People Suck'.. and perhaps a sticker that says 'Sexy People Swallow'.. but that's a whole other topic.. and we'll save it for another day. :D
